Most people only focus on making money in the market. Very few focus on protecting it.
One of the biggest lessons I learned is:
“If you don’t use a stop loss in stocks, one bad market move can wipe out years of gains.”
That’s why diversification matters.
I personally divide my investments into 3 categories:
1️⃣ Stocks – High Growth Potential
I actively invest in stocks for growth and leverage.
Over the past 7 years, I personally experienced around 326% growth through stock investing.
But stocks also come with risk:

✔️ Emotional trading
✔️ Potential losses without stop loss protection
One limitation for me is that most of my stock trading is inside my 401(k), so the money is generally locked until retirement age.
2️⃣ Fixed Annuities – Guaranteed Income & Protection
I also use fixed annuities because they provide stability.
